Founded in 1970 as a RFCI Chapter. Located in
South East Florida. They have about 350 members of all levels of
experience.
Stated Object of Organization
The Palm Beach Chapter of the Rare Fruit Council International,
inc. is dedicated to promoting and furthering the cultivation and
use of tropical and rare fruit, both in South Florida and
throughout the world.
Meetings are held at the Mounts Auditorium:
531 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida which is
located in Mounts Botanical Gardens.
Meets the Second Friday of each month at 7:30
PM, most months feature a knowledgeable speaker. Visitors and
guests are welcome and encouraged. Located one half mile north of
Southern Blvd. on Military Trail. Membership is $25-US may include
spouse and members receive a monthly newsletter. Their newsletter
is quite informative and is available as printed text or email.
What a bargain!
One of their most exciting events is the annual Ice Cream Party
which is held during August or September. Mmmmm goood!
They also have yearly sales where rare and unusual tropical fruit
plants are sold, see
