To be an active, non-profit organization dedicated to the following
objectives: To introduce, propagate and distribute the many rare
tropical and subtropical fruits grown throughout the world; to educate
its members and the public as to the merits of these plants; and to
encourage and extend their cultivation.
Meetings are held at the Lee County Extension

Terry Park. Their 'tree bank' is also located at the park. The tree
bank contains living specimens of a number of 'rare' fruits. Frequently
one may see flowers and or fruit on several trees.
The Cookbook they have published is very useful. We are pleased to
announce that they will soon have a revised and updated second volume.
